The Central Cass School District, Casselton Parks and Rec, City of Casselton, Cass County Sherriff's Department, Casselton Ministerium, Casselton Business Association, and Sinner-Bresnahan Healthy Kids Initiative are excited to announce that Lori Faleide has been hired as is the new Community Healthy Youth Coordinator. She starts her new position in April, working with the existing coordinator, Amy Warrey who will be leaving the position at the end of the school year. Lori will work closely with the School, Park Board, PTA, FCA, CBA, Sinner Bresnahan – “Healthy Kids” and other youth advocates to create positive activities to decrease the access and usage of drugs and alcohol by young people, and support overall community health and wellness.
Faleide grew up in West Fargo and graduated from the University of North Dakota with degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology. While there she ran for the women’s cross country and track team. She previously was a police officer for the City of Fargo, Executive Safety and Security Manager for both SAKs incorporated and the Target Corporation and has also been an assistant track coach and substitute teacher at Central Cass. She currently lives in Casselton with her husband, Jason, and children Abby (Senior), Sam (Sophomore), Emmy (6thgrade), Sophie (3rd grade) and two dogs Willow and Oakley.
