Central Cass Places 1st in Junior Achievement

The Central Cass management class "Team Squirrels" taught by Mrs. Hoffmann learned many valuable business lessons this year while designing, marketing and selling their product, The Squirrel Tail, a Central Cass rally towel. To add to the real-life experiences the Team Squirrels along with 18 other area teams competed in the local Junior Achievement competition in Fargo, ND on Thursday, January 3rd to showcase their businesses.

The top sellers for Team Squirrels: C. Gross, O. Warrey, J. Sullivan, and J. Hagen, presented and interviewed with a panel of judges.  As first place winners, each of these four students was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Junior Achievement.

Thank you, Lisa Metzger, for bringing Junior Achievement into our classroom and to our community volunteer, Chad Bresnahan, for the countless hours you spent working with these students on their product.
