Central Cass Hires New Theatre Programming Director
In partnership with Rural Cass Community Theatre and the Central Cass Friends of Fine Arts, Central Cass is excited about the hiring of Lisbon, ND native, James Fornes for the new Theatre Programming Director position. The goal behind the joint, collaborative position is that the Theatre Programming Director will not only help offer expanded programming at the school but will also provide leadership and coordination for the arts and broader Casselton community. James Fornes has a Bachelor of Science in Theatre from North Dakota State University with focuses on directing and stage management. He also has training and experience in different styles of acting, movement, and dance. While he was in the Fargo/Moorhead area he also worked on projects with Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) and Creative Care for Reaching Independence (CCRI). After graduating, Fornes moved to the Twin Cities area where he has been working as a freelance theatre artist and professional stage manager and director along with teaching artist work with various theatre companies. We welcome him back to North Dakota and are excited for what he will bring to Casselton, Central Cass and the surrounding community with this theatre knowledge!
Fornes can be reached at email@example.com or by calling the school at 701-347-5352.
