The John Philip Sousa Award

The John Philip Sousa Award

  • The John Philip Sousa Award was established by The Instrumentalist Magazine in 1955 in honor of the great American bandmaster. The Sousa Award is the highest award given to a high school senior in recognition of outstanding musicianship, leadership and loyalty to the school band program.
