Degrees and Certifications:
Hello! My name is Michelle Lahren and I am the School Nurse for Central Cass. I am contracted through Fargo Cass Public Health to work in the school promoting staff & student health. I have been the school nurse at Central Cass since 2002. Prior to that I worked in the hospital on the Medical/Oncology unit. No day is ever the same in the Nurses office, from treating injuries to helping students manage chronic conditions to teaching health & safety lessons in the classroom.
Now with the COVID-19 pandemic and students not physically in our school building, I want families to know I am still here for you to help with any questions or concerns you may have.
REMEMBER: Keep calm and wash your hands :)
EPI Pen Annoucement
Concerns have been brought up regarding epi-pens. Please see the link below. The important thing to remember is to always have 2 epi-pens with you in case the first one fails to work properly.

If your child needs an emergency careplan or to take medication during the school day, these forms are available at my office or at the Drs office. These forms need to filled out, signed by the physician and parent/guardian. Please stop in or call if you have any questions. Thanks, Nurse Michelle
